Services

Research and Location Scouting

We consider research as the most important factor and a key to successful filming.
We carry out research to be able to provide you the relevant information you need with the possibility of filming upon understanding your vision. We have connections with universities, government departments, researchers etc. and also provide after film research.
Upon receiving your synopsis, we will survey and select the best location, institution, characters and season for your program.

Filming Permit

We advise and process all necessary filming permits from government departments and private institutions on your behalf.
• Media Council
Press accreditation from Media Council under Ministry of Information and Communication Technology is a primary permit for all filming in Uganda
• National parks
Filming in national parks requires a permit from Uganda Wildlife Authority. The process usually takes between 2 to 4 weeks depending on the nature of your content.
• Drone permit
The process can take 3-6 months and is issued by the Ministryof Defense. Drone is a sensitive issue in most African countries, and always runs the possibility of the application not getting approved.

Logistic Management

• Schedule and budget
We create the filming schedule and budget efficiently according to your request.
• Customs clearance
Uganda is not a member country of ATA carnet. Therefore, it is necessary to arrange “temporary importation” to bring in your own filming equipment without import duty charges.
• Transport, accommodation
We arrange suitable accommodation, vehicles, domestic flights or even boat rides dependent on your filming content and budget.
• Interpreter / transcript
We arrange interpreters for our local languages during the filming period and a professional translator for your transcripts.
• Accompaniment to filming location(s)
Our staff will accompany you to your filming location(s) to ensure that everything goes smoothly. We play the role of talking to people and authority at the site.

Remote filming

We provide with remote filming services in Africa.

After receiving project plan of your program, we will start our research on the ground and send you detailed report with photograph. Thereafter we will carry out the filming with local staff according to your script.

We have been offering fixing, coordination service for TV program for 20 years. Please use our service when you are unable to travel due to travel restriction or limited budget.
